THE CITY HALL BANK
and THE OAKLEY BANK
+ 1st NATIONAL
of NORWOOD
I am not exactly sure what is going on here. I obtained a collection of 12 City Hall Bank post cards with dates from July 1909 to June 1910 which is 12 consecutive months. Now 3 years later I have acquired a second collection of The Oakley Bank containing the same exact cards with July being the exception. I am thinking that this unknown publisher started printing these cards starting with the July, 1909 card and printed a full years worth. After the July 1910 card they ceased printing this type of card, probably because it was not profitable enough due to the fact that they had to find a different business for each set of cards. I will put both sets up side by side with the City Hall Bank card first and then the Oakley Bank card. I have now found a third bank using this set. It is the First National Bank of Norwood (see March 1910).

THE A. J. CONROY CO.
December-1911 (cards picture is fuzzy)
121-125 W. 6th Street
I have to admit that it took me about two years before I finally figured out what this Furniture Company's name was. The last item is not a calendar card but I thought it was appropriate that I place it here, besides it also gives me an address. The top image is an early illustration of their building.
THE NELSON BUSINESS COLLEGE
ROBERT MITCHELL FURNITURE CO.
THE SMITH PIANO CO.
KIMBALL PIANOS
THE FARRIN-KORN LUMBER CO.
W. V. CAREY & CO.
HOME STEAM AVONDALE LAUNDRY CO.
These cards feature a somewhat different format than the previous cards in that the calendar is shown on the back of the card.
MILFORD HARDWARE COMPANY
Any card that features R. F. Outcault's "Yellow Kid" does not come cheap. For instance these two cards above cost me around $160.00 each and I was unable to get several others in that price range. So unless I get very lucky, chances are, you will not see any more of these.
DR. A. H. KING
This is another R. F. Outcault card featuring Buster Brown and his dog Tige.
HOWARD ENGINEERING & MFG. CO.
The only thing I can say about this company is that the address places it right in the center of I75.
